INFORMATION ON ACCESS TO LECTURE THEATRE AVOIDING STEPS
AND LOCATION OF DISABLED DRIVER BAYS

Access to the Chichester Lecture Theatre (shown as No. 50) from the main car park (P1) is via the steps located in the top left corner.  If you wish to avoid the steps there are two ways of accessing the lecture theatre. Both involve accessing the Chichester Building (no 24) which has a direct level connection to the lecture theatre.

(1) Drive along the North-South Road and use the lift in the Chichester Building (No 24).  The lift is at the back of the loading bay – walk up the ramp and go through the double doors.  The lecture theatre floor is Level 0 and the loading bay (road level) is Level 1.  You may have to press the open door button in the lift to get the doors to open on the side of the loading bay.  There are 7 disabled driver bays in the road.  If these are occupied use Car Park P4 or P3.

(2) Drive along the Lower Access Road.  There is a barrier at the entrance of the road – press the button for security and say that you want to get to the disabled access at the Chichester Building.  Drive to the Chichester Building (No24) where there is a ramp up to the entrance of the building. There are 4 disabled driver bays near to the main entrance. If occupied use Car Park P4 or P3.
